In 2009 Verwood Methodist Church celebrated its centenary of sharing Christian fellowship together and serving the community in Verwood. We would like to welcome you and your family to join us in serving and worshiping our Lord, in a variety of ways including Sunday services, worship events, Bible study, prayer, music (both contemporary and tradictional), house groups, fellowship and food.
Within the ministry of the Reverend Nigel Deller, we enjoy contemporary style worship, music and bible-based teaching, connecting with everyday life. Nigel's work within the Wimborne circuit of the Methodist Church also includes being minister of Holtwood Methodist Church.

As a church we believe in God the Father as Creator and Sustainer, Jesus Christ as Saviour and Friend, and The Spirit as the Power of God present and active in the world. We believe in the truth and authority of God's Word in the Bible, and the saving grace of Christ our Lord.

As a church we seek to 

• To respond to the love and grace of God in worship, fellowship and service
• Know Christ and make Christ known, both within our fellowship and within the community
• Live out the love and teachings of Jesus both as a fellowship and as individuals

Verwood Methodist Church is part of a larger group of Methodist churches and is part of the Wimborne circuit. Our friendships extend across Dorset.
